St. James Dining and Fellowship Groups 2026-2027

Chill & Grill Group

Designed for parents (both couples and single) with younger children. This relaxed gathering offers families an opportunity to connect in an informal setting with others in a similar place in life. The host(s) provides beverages and a simple entrée, while other members bring side dishes and dessert. Groups typically include 10 participants, and co-hosting is encouraged. Whether children attend will be determined by each individual group.

Supper Club Group

These groups meet monthly in a host's home for a traditional sit-down dinner. The host(s) provide beverages and the entrée, while other members bring appetizers, salad, or dessert. Groups typically include 12 participants, and members are welcome to co-host.

Small Plates Group

These groups meet monthly in a host's home for an evening centered around heavy hors d'oeuvres rather than a full meal. The host provides beverages and the main selection of heavy hors d'oeuvres, while other members bring additional appetizers and desserts. Groups typically include 12 participants.

Restaurant Brunch Group – Dutch treat

These groups meet on Sunday mornings following worship services. The monthly host selects the restaurant and makes the reservation. Groups typically include 10 participants. Please note that the third Sunday of each month is reserved for the church breakfast and will not be used for brunch gatherings.

Coffee & Conversation Group - Dutch treat

Perfect for those who prefer daytime activities or prefer not to drive at night, these groups meet during the week at a time and location selected by the monthly host. Gatherings may include coffee, light refreshments, or lunch. Conversations may center around a chosen topic or simply flow naturally as participants get to know one another.
