Prayers and Squares
How does it work?
Prayers and Squares members lovingly create hand-tied quilts for those in need.
You do not need to be experienced in quilting to be a part of this group - all members of the team play a vital role in the assembly process! Once the quilts have been assembled, floss ties are placed in each square. Members of the congregation are then asked to tie each knot and pray for the recipient. Every knot represents a personal prayer for the person who receives the quilt. They are a statement of our faith, and a testimony to our strong belief in God, and in the ultimate power of prayer.
